American Made Wool Filled Pillows

American Blossom Linens

Our all natural bed pillows are filled with wool from sheep raised in the Pacific Northwest and Upper Midwest states and covered in a heavy cotton fabric we make from cotton organically grown in West Texas.  The wool is cleaned and carded in the USA into tiny bolus pieces that are slightly felted giving you a wonderful cushion for your head and the most comfortable and restful sleep.  Wool has natural heating and cooling characteristics which adjust to your body temperature, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

The wool we use is gathered and processed by a carding mill in California which sources the wool from local farms known for sustainable practices like: proper grazing methods that sequester carbon, healthy veterinary practices, and no use of herbicides or pesticides in the fields or on the animals.

The pillow covers are sewn at a not-for-profit in Herkimer NY that provides support, job training and housing services to the disabled. We hand fill each standard size pillow with 36 oz (2.25 lbs) and each king size pillow with 64 oz (4 lbs) of wool bolus pieces. And the best part, these pillows are adjustable - just unzip and remove some of the bolus pieces if you want a flatter pillow.
