My new favorite snuggle

I love everything about this throw. It’s cozy for cooler nights but lightweight enough for summer evenings. The design is simple but beautiful. And best of all it is made in the USA!

Herringbone throw

My favorite new throw blanket!! It’s soft and gently heavy at the same time!! The weight gives the perfect snuggly drape to the blanket. I love them so much I now own 2 throw blankets and 2 queen size blankets! I’m ready for the cooler weather to get here. Thank you American Blossom Linens, supporting American made is my passion!!

My 5 year blanket hunt has finally ended

So first of all I will say, this is an expensive blanket. You can find $20 queen size blankets at big box stores which I have done in the past. Do they function as a blanket as intended? Yes. Do they look nice? They can. However, once you take that cheap blanket home and you wash it just once, you realize quickly why it’s a $20 dollar blanket. The knitting of the threads come undone, holes appear left and right, you hold it up to the light and you can see right through it, it does NOT keep you warm. And it piles. Like a lot. You feel bad because even though it was a deal, you don’t want to throw it away, it’s not nice enough to give to a thrift store because they’ll probably just throw it in the trash for you (more clothes are thrown away than we realize)… I mean it has holes everywhere now. Under closer inspection of the blanket I purchased, I saw that it was 100% cotton, but made in India. It makes you wonder how they can even make a queen size blanket that inexpensive when the cost of material can easily be more than that. Whose really getting paid? How is that cotton being grown? Why was the assembly so poor? It’s not like cotton is a bad material… Now to the point. The American Blossom Herringbone Blanket is not a $20 blanket. I have washed it several times and it is still beautiful. It has the perfect weight where it drapes wonderfully, yet it is still nice and thick and is able to keep it’s shape. It’s the perfect blanket during the summer when it’s a little too hot for a quilt, and for colder months it works very well as a mid layer. It’s also just nice to curl up in. The design is GORGEOUS. I have both colors now (I saved my pennies) and the way the blue ripples just makes me swoon every time I look at my made bed; whereas, the coyote gives such a lovely warm neutral tone, it blends perfectly with other natural colors, so you’re able to get 2 distinct looks from the same exact design of blanket. It is such a timeless look that can look modern and chic but also cozy and cottage-like. This blanket (for the queen size) was over $300. That’s a lot of money for many people, BUT you only have to get one blanket instead of having to always buy new ones which will cost you over time, not to mention the waste, or you can just continue to suffer through the cheap, makes you somehow feel colder, blanket. Which I did to save up for this blanket. You will save money buying a really nice blanket once. This blanket is just that. I love that it’s American made, so there’s fair wages going on, organic cotton from America, and uses dyes that are made in American or come naturally from the cotton. There’s a very good reason why this blanket costs more and it is worth every penny.

Love the feel

I love the feel and weight However my dog got on the blanket and put a lot of snags in it so with that being said I have not washed it yet but will re-evaluate after I can get it mended and it can be washed
