Designed with you in mind, this laundry basket is handmade by our friends in New England who have been making baskets since 1854. The baskets are made from Appalachian Ash which is a light-colored hardwood grown right here in the USA. The baskets are available in four wood finishes and are naturally resistant to discoloration from moisture. They include sturdy leather handles that are riveted to the basket hoop for added strength and all of the hardware is brass coated to help prevent rusting. Generously sized at 22”L x 13”W x 10”H, this basket is the one for you! Just like our bed sheets, these baskets are woven to last a lifetime! United StatesThe basket exceeded my expectations. It looks beautiful, & sturdy. It fits perfectly in its designated home. Light but sturdy. I was wondering if a cotton liner could be made to fit the inside of the basket. I don't sew. I think it would be a wonderful option.
